About Me
Hi there! My name is Giulia, and I am the owner of ArtxGiu. I have an experienced art background dating back to childhood dreams of being an artist.
I studied at York University, where I obtained a Visual Arts and Art History degree with honours and a Bachelors of Education.
I studied to become a teacher alongside this, and have been a member with the Ontario College of Teachers since 2023.
I am now a high school Visual Arts teacher, where I continue to pursue my love for the arts.
My ultimate goal is to share the passion I have for art by helping others discover it through their own eyes. Through personalized instruction, a welcoming community, and creative exploration, I hope to show that art is more than just making something beautiful, it is a way to express yourself, build confidence, connect with others, and find joy in the creative process.

How It Got Started
What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is ArtxGiu. In creating this platform in June of 2020, I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life. I enjoy connecting with people, what interests me, what interests others, and sharing what I love with the world. With each passing day, ArtxGiu is a growing business which aims to create, immerse and experience a new journey.
Where We Are
Since 2020, ArtxGiu has expanded into the community through paint events of all ages. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, the goal is to enjoy making art in a fun and interactive way. Private art lessons are now available in 6 or 10 week sessions at 1 class per week, for 1.5 hours. ArtxGiu provides all instruction, equipment, materials and setup/takedown. ArtxGiu is mobile, which means classes take place at an agreed upon location for your convenience!
